SHIPPING
All of our pieces are handmade and therefore may take up to 4 days to ship (though many are shipped within 24 hours). Betsy Tanner Designs accepts Visa and Mastercard.. We also accept checks online; however, your order will not be processed and shipped until we receive your check in the mail and your check has been cleared. You will receive your order four to seven business days from the date your order was placed.
U.S. SHIPPING COSTS:
All orders will be shipped UPS. If your order is large in size and/or needs to be shipped quickly, please call our studio at 773-551-4406 or email orderinquiry@betsytanner.com.
SHIPPING RATES
Overnight delivery is available for an additional fee which will be determined at that time. Shipping costs are based upon live estimates received directly from UPS by weight and destination address at the time the order is placed.
8.75% sales tax will be automatically applied to all Illinois orders. All domestic orders will be shipped INSURED UPS unless otherwise specified. All claims (damage or shortage) must be reported within five working days after receipt of merchandise. Our responsibility for merchandise shipped via common carrier ceases upon delivering the order to the carrier. We are not responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in transit. You must file a claim with the delivery carrier. We would, however, assist you in supplying any information necessary for submission of your claim.
SHIPPING TO CANADA:
We ship UPS Ground Service directly to your door. Please allow ten business days from the date your order was placed. Shipments to P.O. boxes, the Yukon, and Northwest Territories are shipped via Canada Post. Delays are common when shipping to Canada due to handling of duty and GST, so please factor this in when placing your order. We do not offer overnight delivery to Canada.
Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. If paying by credit card, your order will be automatically charged to your account in Canadian dollars at the current exchange rate (including all duty and taxes). Checks or money orders must be in U.S. dollars.
RETURN POLICY
At Betsy Tanner Designs we adore our creations and hope that you will feel the same. If you are unhappy with your purchase you may send unworn merchandise in resalable condition back to us within 10 days of shipment date for an exchange or merchandise credit. There are no refunds or exchanges on special orders which include lengthened pieces and requested design changes. The customer will be responsible for the cost of shipment and/or call tag UPS charges for any returned merchandise.

2. Please package the item in a padded secure enclosure.
3. Be sure to Insure your package! This is very very important, we cannot issue you a credit if your package is lost in transit.

Repair
In the unlikely event that a piece needs repair, there will be a $10.00 per piece repair charge, plus shipping for all merchandise purchased within 60 days. For merchandise over 60 days old, there will be a $20.00 per piece repair charge, plus shipping. As our merchandise changes often, some beads or stones may not be available for repair, in which case we will make every attempt to find something similar.
